FUTZEN Academy

Twenty players. Twenty different challenges.

Each one solves theirs by playing: so they know what to do when the ball comes to them, and ask for it again after a mistake with the same confidence.

Fut + Zen: football from a place of calm and focus.

We train each player according to what they need, with our own methodology, small groups and an individual individualised plan, always in real game situations.

Two FUTZEN players listen calmly; one has a hand on his chest

Breathe.

Everything starts with calm. A composed, resilient player solves problems under pressure and thinks clearly in every action.

Observe.

With a calm mind, you see more. We teach them to read the game: teammates, opponents and space.

Play.

Calm and focus turn into action: deciding with confidence, daring to try and enjoying football.

Questions.

What does the player need to bring?
  • Football boots
  • Football socks
  • Shin pads
  • Water bottle

It's cold in December, so they can also wear a thermal top and tracksuit bottoms or leggings.

The Futzen shirt is compulsory and is always worn over the thermal top or jacket, so everyone is in uniform in the camp photos.

Can my child come for just a few days?

Yes. Mention it in the comments section of the registration form and we'll get in touch to talk about the days and the price.

What happens if it rains?

If the rain makes training impossible, we have activities and talks ready. If, as a precaution, no activity can go ahead, we'll let all families know so they can come and pick up the players.

Can parents stay and watch the sessions?

Yes, from the stands or the facility's bar. For safety reasons, parents may not go onto the pitch or into the changing-room corridor.

Who picks the player up? Can they go home on their own?

Minors can only go home on their own if the family has given us a signed authorisation. Without it, a coach will stay with the player until the family arrives to pick them up.

What if I cancel the registration?

Each case is looked at individually with the family. Refunds are not guaranteed, and cancellations may mean losing priority when registering for future Futzen events. More details in the registration terms.
